Pineapple Swordtail

Swordtails are another great addition to a peaceful community aquarium. The Pineapple Swordtails have pink lines running through their yellow body. The males have a long "Sword" like tale and females have a normal short tail. Please be aware that this is a listing for both male and female varieties at random, and not simply the males with long tails.

Ease of care
Easy. The sexes will need to either be kept separately or 2 females to every 1 male. They will harass the females otherwise.

Diet
The food we recommend is tropical flake and granules.

Compatibility
A community aquarium with no fin nipping fish.

Breeding/ Sex
Easy. They are live bearers so will spawn extremely quickly and young.

Life Span
They can live to anything from 1-2 years in perfect conditions.
