pH: 6.5 – 8.0.
Temperature: 17 – 26 °C

Ease of care
Easy, They thrive in a planted aquarium with hiding places. Do not use any treatment that contains Copper. Please always read the label.

Diet

Mainly algae & vegetation. Shrimp pellets are good for them however they shouldn't have too much protein as it causes health issues. They can also have a colour enhancer food.

Compatibility
Species only is best for breeding however can go with small fish such as Tetras or Rasbora.

Breeding/ Sex
Easy, no extra work is necessary other than good water conditions. Females are brighter and slightly larger than the males.

Life Span
They can live to anything from 1 - 2 years in perfect conditions.
